JAKARTA - Nippon Koei (NK) is sponsoring the event of Bon Odori Festival, which was held in Bali. Hosted by the Bali Japan Club for over three decades, this annual event has stood as a remarkable celebration of cultural exchange, building lasting connections with the local community. In the year 2025, the 30th Bon Odori Festival was held in the Hong Kong Garden Restaurant, Sanur, Indonesia.
NK has a long history in the local community of Bali and has been supporting them for many years. Our involvement in the Bali Beach Conservation Project (BBCP) phase 1 began in 1997. We proudly continue this longstanding commitment by contributing to the ongoing BBCP Phase 2 since 2020 and strengthening our partnership with the community of Bali. We are honored to present ourselves as one of the sponsors of this meaningful event, bringing together local government officials and members of the Balinese and Japanese communities in a spirit of collaboration and friendship.

Brief preview of BBCP in Indonesia.
BBCP phase 1 started in 1997, intending to achieve sustainable beach management and coastal disaster risk reduction through a coastal restoration and conservation plan. After finishing the project in 2008, we continued phase 2 of this project in 2020 with a similar objective as phase 1. We deeply value the importance of Bali’s beaches, which embody the local community’s cultural heritage and form a vital part of the island’s tourism landscape. Our vision extends beyond restoration; we are committed to creating sustainable coastal infrastructure and protecting the surrounding environment for generations to come.

In carrying out this project, we have worked hand in hand with the government and local communities. We firmly believe that meaningful engagement, mutual trust, and knowledge sharing are key to ensuring a smooth process and lasting impact. As part of our commitment, we will continue to cultivate strong and positive relationships with the local community.
